  • “I cannot speak for the cabins but we are staying in an RV spot and I love it. The spots are huge and shady. The private bathrooms are great if you don't want to squeeze in your tiny camper shower. The lake area is gorgeous! We really enjoyed swimming in the lake. There's a nice sandy bottom and you don't need water shoes. The area is secluded and we brought groceries but also enjoyed driving into town to get food. The drive is really beautiful and relaxing. We do A LOT of camping and this is a place we will definitely return to. We didn't try the restaurant but I have plans to come back with the girls and rent a cabin and check out the restaurant. This is a great spot for girls trips, romantic getaways or family vacations!”

  • “We enjoyed our 3 night stay in the RV Park. The spots were nice and level with full hookups. We were in spot #15 with a view of the lake. Well spaced out and very nice park for peace and quiet but plenty of families with children and dogs. Great hiking trails! We highly recommend the restaurant if you would like a night off from cooking. Casual dress.”

  • “Our family has been visiting Canyon of the Eagles for several years. We had a trip booked when COVID started and postponed until late August. We were a little apprehensive about traveling again and felt completely safe during our stay. While some of the amenities and activities are suspended due to COVID, we enjoyed spending time on the gorgeous beachfront at the lake, the perfectly manicured trails, and at their observatory. I recommend calling far in advance to reserve the observatory, it has gotten very popular and we were told it books up weeks in advance. We had a few meals at the restaurant and met the new Chef! Everything was delicious and they have an impressive wine list. This is gorgeous spot to get away for a few days, unplug and spend time with family.”
