Indoor Nature Education Series

While the outdoor thermometer is in the triple digits, we decided to offer nature education from the comfort of an air-conditioned meeting room.

Join us on Saturdays at 10 am in the Live Oak Room for fascinating, family-friendly presentations by Highland Lakes Master Gardener Willard Horn. Kids love him. Questions are encouraged. Each week he will dive deep into topics like edible and medicinal plants, local bird identification, raised bed gardening, and Native American Indian arrowheads.  Willard is an amazing source of information about nature and a treasure for our guests.

This program is free to all our overnight guests. Others may attend with the purchase of a Day-pass.
