Select Trails (not all) closed for nesting season

Each year from March 1st through September 1st, Canyon of the Eagles closes select trails on our 16-miles of groomed paths for the mating/nesting season of two endangered birds who call the Edwards Plateau, which includes our nature park, their mating/nesting grounds.  We are proud to do our part to help the Black-capped Vireo (adult male in photo below, left) and the Golden-cheeked Warbler (adult male in photo below, right) on their path to repopulation. Both birds can be sighted on the portion of the trails that are not closed.

The links provided have songs so you may listen for, and keep a sharp eye out, for our two important feathered friends.
