July 4th Star-Spangled
RV Decorating Contest
- RV guests are invited to participate in Canyon of the Eagles’ first-ever star-spangled RV decorating contest!
- Participating RVs must complete decorating by 5 pm on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022.
- RV sites may use music and lights as part of their décor; however, we ask everyone to be respectful of neighbors regarding volume. Additionally, all music and lights must be turned off between 10 pm and 10 am in observance of the resort’s Quiet Time.
- First and Second Place winners will receive a prize. The First-Place winner will receive one night’s free RV rental during their current stay. The Second-Place winner will receive two free breakfast buffets in Overlook Restaurant during their current stay. Prizes will be applied at check-out in Guest Services.
- Voting will take place from 7 pm on Saturday, July 2nd, through 9 am on Sunday, July 3rd.
- Ballots and the voting box are in the Guest Services office. One vote per guest for First and Second place winners. Kids get to vote too! Cast your votes using the RV site number.
- Decorations cannot be political in nature and must remain within the confines of your campsite. For safety purposes, please do not obstruct the public driveway.
- Winners to be announced on Sunday, July 3rd a 10 am on the Patio outside of Overlook Restaurant.
- Voting is open to all overnight resort guests, as well as any Day Pass visitors.

Thank you for staying with us at Canyon of the Eagles this 4th of July weekend.
Whether you are staying in guestrooms, a tent campsite, or an RV site, all overnight guests are invited to vote in our first star-spangled RV decorating contest. Adults and children may each cast one vote for first and second place.
Please walk thru the RV Park between Saturday, July 2nd from 7 pm through Sunday, July 3rd at 9 am and note by RV site number your first and second place choices. You may want to walk through the Rv area twice, once during the day and once after dark, to see the decorations in all their star-spangled glory.
Then, join us on the Patio outside Overlook restaurant on Sunday, July 3rd at 10, when the winners will be announced.
