Cinco de Mayo
Canyon of the Eagles is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a festive lineup of activities for all ages! Join the fun on May 2nd and 3rd with delicious dinner specials and exciting drink specials. On Saturday, May 3rd, enjoy live music from 7–9 p.m., and don’t miss the tamale-making class from 3–5 p.m. for a tasty hands-on experience. Kids can get creative with fun craft activities, and everyone can unwind with a movie under the stars. Bring your family and friends to enjoy this fun-filled celebration!
Spring Festival and Market
Get ready for a fun-filled weekend at Canyon of the Eagles during their Spring Festival, happening May 23–25, 2025! The festivities kick off Friday with dinner specials at the Overlook Restaurant, drink specials, a movie under the stars, a cozy s'mores fire pit, and stargazing at the Eagle Eye Observatory. Saturday is packed with excitement, featuring a vendor market, live music by Dave Montero from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., and Dawson Holland and The Yaloo’s from 7 to 10 p.m. Families will love the kids' activities and hayrides, plus foodies can enjoy more dinner specials and drink specials throughout the day. Don’t miss the wine and beer tasting sessions happening both day and night!
Sunday wraps up the weekend with a splash during the Kid-Friendly Water Day, perfect for cooling off and having a blast. If you're a vendor, there’s still time to join the market! - Pinhole Photography Project
- Art, Nature, Photography, Astronomy, and Outdoor Recreation.
- All ages, minors accompanied by adult parent(s) or guardian(s).
Participants will make their own pinhole cameras and learn how to take and develop black and white images, as well as kayaking, mountain biking (with e-bike option), naturalist-led trail walks, birds, flowers, butterflies, exploring the natural and cultural history of the Texas Hill Country environment.
